Marc André Pépin is the founder and CEO of Invescap, a company which is a pioneer in the field of European-type financial products. In his role as CEO, he is responsible for, among other things, marketing, client relationships, human resources, the analysis and study of financial products, and the business’s strategic and operational management.
From June 2009 to April 2012 Marc Pépin was CEO of Real Value Management, a business ranked in the top 2% of Bloomberg’s fund universe. Here, he was responsible for investment strategies, the development of client relationships, human resources, and marketing. During his time in post, managed financial products increased from CHF 5 million to in excess of CHF 280 million.
Dr. Pépin was a senior portfolio manager at Banque Clariden-Leu (CS Group) from August 2005 to May 2009. His responsibilities included advising on and managing Swiss and international client accounts, with an emphasis on financial products investments. Notable achievements during this time included the development of investment processes around financial products mandates and an increase in the amount of VIP discretionary and financial products mandates by more than 63%.
As well as holding an MBA in finance from Imperial College, London, Dr. Pépin has a Ph.D. in finance and economics and a degree in industrial engineering. He has been a certified chartered financial analyst since 2002 and a chartered alternative investment analyst since 2003. As well as French, he speaks fluent English and German.
